1. Right to withdraw (7 calendar days)
Since the purchase is made online, you have 7 calendar days to change your mind without having to give a reason, under article 49 of the Brazilian Consumer Protection Code (Law No. 8,078/1990). The period counts from the payment confirmation.
There's a practical condition, also standard market practice in the events industry: the request must be made at least 48 hours before the event starts. Purchases made within the 48 hours before the event don't allow withdrawal, because the ticket is already for immediate enjoyment.
The withdrawal refund is full, including the service fee, and the ticket is invalidated immediately.
2. How to request a refund
- Open “My tickets”, tap the ticket and choose “cancel order”.
- Within the window, just confirm: the order is canceled, the tickets stop working at the door, and the refund goes out right away, with no review.
- The money goes back to the same payment method: up to 5 business days by card, up to 10 business days by Pix.
Past the window, or the event was canceled, postponed or moved? The screen tells you why and opens a ticket for our team — you can also write to suporte@baziapp.co, and we reply within 2 business days.
3. Event cancellation by the organizer
If the event is canceled, the refund is full and automatic — you don't have to request anything. We notify you by email and by app notification as soon as the organizer announces the cancellation.
4. Postponement or venue change
When the event is postponed or changes address, you choose between:
- keeping the ticket, which automatically becomes valid for the new date or venue; or
- requesting a full refund, within 7 calendar days from the announcement of the change.
5. Material changes to the event
Substantial changes announced after the purchase — such as the removal of the headline act that was announced — give you the right to a full refund, provided it is requested within 7 calendar days of the announcement of the change. Minor adjustments to the schedule, the running order or the supporting line-up do not create that right.
6. When there's no refund
- Withdrawal outside the 7 calendar days window or within the 48 hours before the event.
- Not showing up (no-show) or arriving after entry has closed.
- Ticket already used — with the QR code validated at the door.
- Entry refused for breaking the venue's rules, the published dress code or the age rating, or for intoxication, at the organizer's discretion.
- Ticket acquired outside BAZI's official channels.
7. Refund timelines and method
- Credit card: the refund is requested from the issuer within 5 business days after approval. The credit shows up on the current statement or the next one, depending on your card's cycle — the bank's timeline, not BAZI's.
- Pix: refunded to the same key used in the purchase, within 10 business days after approval.
- BAZI balance: the part of the purchase paid with your wallet balance comes back as balance as soon as the refund is approved — card and Pix only return what went through them.
- The amount returned is always the amount actually paid, including the service fee in cases of withdrawal, cancellation or postponement.
8. Ticket transfer
Tickets are personal and linked to the buyer's account. Transferring to another person, when enabled by the organizer, is done inside the BAZI app. Reselling above price is prohibited and leads to cancellation of the ticket without a refund, under the Terms of use.
9. Half-price tickets and benefits
Half-price tickets require you to show the supporting document at the door (Brazilian Law No. 12,933/2013 and applicable state laws). Being refused entry for lack of proof does not create a right to a refund.
